The Punta Sur Sculpture Park was created in 2001 with the participation of 23 Mexican and foreign plastic artists. Each of their magnificent works where designed, sculpted and placed in this area, which is afforded with an incredible and privileged natural beauty and a rich, colorful history. Its modern shapes and hues evoke the immortal charm of the Maya civilization and are a true feast for your eyes.

Garrafón is an eco-friendly park, and as such, it has respected the natural conditions and beauty of the spectacular cliffs that are found in this beautiful corner of Isla Mujeres. At the park, there are several panoramic paths that lead to Punta Sur; each offers different levels of difficulty. Their rocky walls and grounds, the white sand and the crystalline water afford a great variety of shapes and textures that you can enjoy with both your eyes and your sense of touch.
