1. Where do I have to take the ferry to Garrafon Park and at what time?

   Remember we have 1 free ferry services at 9:00 in different departure points according to your booked program: From Playa Langosta for all swim with dolphins programs and garrafon + swim with dolphins programs scheduled 10:30 am. Please note that the arrival point for your return will be Playa Langosta. Consider this information if you, for example, leave a car in Marina Aquatours.

2. How do I get to Marina Aquatours or Playa Langosta if I'm staying in Cancun?

   You can get there by bus, the ticket is less than $1 USD; or you can take a taxi from your hotel, ask the concierge about the details to avoid delays and calculate fees.

3. How far is Isla Mujeres from Cancun?

   Isla Mujeres is a small island located in front of Cancun. The boat ride from Cancun to Isla Mujeres is about 30 or 40 minutes.

4. Does the round trip from Cancun to Isla Mujeres have an additional cost?

   By getting a Dolphin Discovery program, the ferry transportation is free for all participants; however there's a dock fee of $8.00 USD for ea. participant and ea. companion.

5. Does the program rate change if I’m staying in Isla Mujeres and I don’t need the ferry service?

   No, the Garrafon package rate is the same because the ferry service does not have any payable fee as it is exclusive for our participants.

6. How I can recognize the transportation vehicle?

   All our units have the Dolphin Discovery logo, plus our staff will have distinctive uniform.

7. How do I get to Garrafon Park location if I’m in Isla Mujeres?

   If you are staying in Isla Mujeres, simply take a taxi to Carretera Garrafón, Lote 9, Kilometro 6, where is the location of Garrafon Park.

8. What will be the schedule of my transportation?

   The schedule for you pick up and return service will be set at the time of your reservation.

9. What is your policy on children?

   Infants are considered children 1 to 5 years, whom do not pay the service. However for the Encounter program must have 1 year of age and life jacket must fit properly.

   We consider them children 6 to 12 years, but for programs should measure 1.20 and in the company of a paying adult or 1.40 m to perform any program alone. The children will do activities appropriate to their age and height.

10. What are the policies of age for the Encounter program?

    Adult: +13 years

    Kids: 6-12 years

    Infant: 1-5 years

    Children from 1 up to 7 years old or with less than 1.20m tall may participate accompanied by 1 adult in the Encounter program.

    Children from 8 years or more 1.20m tall may participate alone in the Encounter program paying adult rate.

11. What are the age policies for the Swim Adventure program?

    Adult: +13 years

    Kids: 6-12 years

    Infant: 1-5 years

    Children from 1 up to 7 years old or with less than 1.20m tall may participate accompanied by 2 adults in the Swim Adventure program only performing the activities Kiss, Hand Target and Handshake.

    Children from 8 years or more than 1.20m tall can participate accompanied by one adult in the Swim Adventure program. Children aged 10 years or above 1.40m tall can participate on their own in any program paying the adult rate.

12. What are the age policies for the Royal Swim program?

    Adult: +13 years

    Kids: 6-12 years

    Infant: 1-5 years

    Children from 1 up to 7 years old or with less than 1.20m tall may participate accompanied by 2 adults in the Royal Swim program only performing the activities Kiss, Hand Target and Handshake.

    Children from 8 years or more than 1.20m tall can participate accompanied by one adult in the Royal Swim program. Children aged 10 years or above 1.40m tall can participate on their own in any program paying the adult rate.

13. What activities are carried out in each program?

    Royal Swim: Foot Push, Dorsal Tow, Handshake, Kiss, Hand target, hug.

    Swim Adventure: Belly Ride, Boogie push, Hug, Hand target, handshake, kiss.

    Dolphin Encounter: Hand target, kiss, handshake, as well as information about the behavior and anatomy of dolphins.

14. How many people are in the water at the same time?

    Royal Swim: 10 people maximum.

    Swim Adventure: 12 people maximum.

    Dolphin Encounter: 15 to 20 people maximum.

15. Can I feed the dolphins?

    Dolphins have a specifically balanced diet according to their age, activity and development, so feeding dolphins is not allowed as this could affect their health.

16. Do you offer therapy programs with dolphins?

    No, we currently do not have this service. Our programs are educational and interactive. However, we invite you to participate in any of our programs, you can review the security policies section for more information on the participation of people with disabilities.

17. Will I have to wear a life jacket?

    The use of life jackets is required in all water programs. Our staff will provide the jacket that best suits your complexion. We have jackets available in different sizes and for babies one year old and up.

18. I am a person with disabilities, Can I participate in the programs?

    People with disabilities may participate in our programs. This requires filling a format and send it via email to info@dolphindiscovery.com, where is to specify the type of special attention they require and based on this information we can determine which is the best program for you and how many people will assist you.

19. Can I use my camera?

    For security reasons, is not allowed to use cameras in the water. Professional photos will be available for sale.

20. Can pregnant women participate?

    Our programs dolphin swim Swim Adventure and Royal Swim are not allowed for pregnant women, however our Dolphin Encounter program is a great option for women with up to 5 months of pregnancy, previously signing a waiver and accompanied by another adult.

21. Is there a refund for cancellation?

    Yes, as long as it's done at least 4 days before the scheduled date of your package. Cancellations with less than 4 days notice does not apply for any refund. The refund will be made if cancellation is made 5 days or before the scheduled date, however there are bank charges for 10% of its total.

22. Can I reschedule my swim with dolphins program?

    It is possible to reschedule as long as you contact us at least 24 hours before the swimming date. The change is subject to availability.

23. What if there is inclement weather?

    Our programs go on rain or shine, so there are no cancellations or refunds in these cases.
